Introduction

Comfortable, affordable accommodation in the heart of historic Sansepolcro…

Bed & Breakfast Cherubino offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in its three newly-refurbished en suite bedrooms. The property is situated within the centro storico (historic centre) of Sansepolcro in east Tuscany, the largest town of the picturesque Valtiberina (Tiber valley.) Sansepolcro is famous for being the birthplace of Piero della Francesca - a great master of the early Renaissance, whose magnificent fresco 'La Resurrezione di Cristo' (The Resurrection) is located in the town's Museo Civico.

Whether you’re planning a short break in the area or longer holiday, Sansepolcro provides an ideal base from which to explore this enchanting part of Italy, with excellent road and public transport links to the many historic towns and villages of Tuscany and Umbria - among them Anghiari, Monterchi, Caprese Michelangelo, Arezzo, Florence, Poppi, Perugia and Assisi - as well as the lesser known but equally as fascinating regions of Le Marche and Emilia-Romagna.

The bed & breakfast stands on Via Cherubino Alberti (a street named in honour of the Italian engraver and painter born in Sansepolcro in 1552, whose work can be seen in the Oratory beneath the town’s San Rocco church.) Its position at the far end of the street ensures a peaceful night’s sleep, although it takes less than a minute to reach the hustle bustle of Via XX Settembre - Sansepolcro’s main boutique and bar lined corso.
